Paralympian David Devine who swept the boards with two medals last Summer is hoping to repeat his success from this Summer off the track as well as on it.
Following injury pre-season, the 20 year old Liverpool-born 800 & 1500m athlete is participating in a number of commercial events to build on his profile and is also interested in taking on an active role as a media pundit.
“I’ve wanted to pursue these opportunities for a couple of years but now the time is right given some initial success on the track and me developing as an individual. Without either, i don’t think you can gain the respect of your peers or the listening/viewing audience.”
Devine, who has 30% vision from just one eye has been acclaimed by media in recent interviews for his inspirational demeanour and achievements to date.
