Active Adventures Liverpool launch skate rink this weekend!

Active Adventures Liverpool has reached the milestone of 10,000 visitors to its outdoor park since opening last year.

Coupled with 70,000 visitors to Otters Eatery in the same period, the company run by ex-Royal Marine Keith Perryman is now looking to evolve further as an outdoor activity centre with the introduction of a skating rink launching this weekend.

He said: “Totalling 300 sq metres, the rink is suitable for ice and roller blade skating, five a side football and is also ideal for wheelchair use.

Following a six-figure investment at the Otterspool Promenade-based leisure attraction, Perryman believes the addition of the rink will instantly prove a hit and further multiply visitors.

“We already have a great family feel here, in fact, there is something to appeal to everybody and we’re really excited about the new rink. It’s only going to add to the experience and will have a big impact on visitor numbers judging by feedback.”

Skaters can access the rink from Saturday with a £5 charge applicable for one hour of skating that includes boot hire.
