Passion for Catalan food earns Lunya Top Taste Accreditation

Since first opening its doors in the heart of Liverpool ONE in March 2010, Lunya has achieved an unrivalled reputation for delivering the best of fresh local produce and ingredients, Catalan and Spanish food in its restaurant, bar and in-house deli as well as online shopping service.

Now it has earned another accolade – the Highest Quality Assured Award from Taste Northwest. With a score of over 80%, Lunya has been recognised with the highest level of accreditation for offering a quality dining experience.

Set in a beautifully converted 18th Century warehouse within Liverpool ONE shopping centre, Lunya was founded by former management consultant Peter Kinsella who developed a passion for Catalan food while working with the regional government in Barcelona.

“The accreditation will also be important in helping the consumer find out about our eating out and wining and dining offer plus our new online deli experience with more than 1,000 products available which is the largest of its kind in the UK.”

Lunya joins other successfully accredited dining venues in the North West and can distinguish itself to customers with a presence onwww.tastenw.co.uk as well as Taste Northwests’ mark of quality promoting quality assurances in food and service.

It will also be promoted further through Taste Northwests’ partnership with organisations like the Liverpool Enterprise Partnership and Marketing Cheshire, to attract food lovers looking for a quality dining experience across the North West
